Experience

What would life look like if I followed Jesus?

Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:29, ESV)

You are invited to take Jesus' yoke, his way of life, upon you.  The opportunities offered here are meant only to provide a taste, though following Jesus is not like a buffet where you can sample as you please.  No, following Jesus is much more serious than that.

It is a way of life, and for any way of life there are practices, some are called spiritual disciplines, that one does.  These practices are not the only ones available, but we invite you to try them and practice them.

The practices offered through the podcast are Christian meditation and learning about sacred Scripture, which Christians call the Holy Bible.

Podcast also available on Spotify, Google Podcasts and others

Prayer

Prayer is regarded as one of the most personal practices to be with God.  In sacred Scripture we read that one of the few questions Jesus' disciples asked was how to pray. They watched and observed Jesus in prayer and they hungered more for God as a result.

Prayer Time: TBD

What is Church?

More than simply a building or a service, Church is a people.

It is important, if you have recently decided to follow Jesus, to get connected with other Christians. We encourage one another in our growth and knowledge of the truth and like anything else in our human experience, we need community.

Jesus did not just stay at a distance.  He became one of us.  This is called the Incarnation. Virtual church can only give you limited community.  Incarnational community is what we were made for. We invite you to join us if you live near or in Medina, Ohio.
